Santilla Chingaipe: PRODUCER/WRITER/HOST

Santilla is an award-winning journalist, filmmaker and author, whose work explores colonialism, slavery, and post-colonial migration in Australia. She writes regularly for The Saturday Paper and is a member of the federal government’s advisory group on Australia-Africa relations. Santilla's documentary work includes the SBS program Date My Race and the ABC documentary series Third Culture Kids. She is the author of the upcoming book Black Convicts, which tells the untold stories of hundreds of convicts of African descent transported to the Australian penal colonies.

Tony Jackson: DIRECTOR/PRODUCER/WRITER

Tony has spent more than thirty years making television and documentaries, earning his first stripes at the BBC before becoming Head of Television at Lonely Planet and then Executive Producer at Chemical Media. One of Australia’s most experienced producer- directors, Tony has worked with international broadcasters in North America, Europe, the Middle East, China and Australia. He has twice been nominated for a Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism and is the winner of a Screen Producers Australia Award.

David Collins: WRITER/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

As one of the co-founders of Chemical Media,
David has spent the last nine years producing and writing a range of documentaries and factual entertainment for SBS, the ABC, Discovery Channel and Al Jazeera English, including the Walkley Award- nominated documentary You See Monsters. David was previously Head of Content Development at Lonely Planet Television. He is the winner of a Screen Producers Australia Award.
